  • Description

This is a an ammo box for 9mm ammo. It holds 50 rounds. This item is 3D Printed. It has a sliding lid (available in grey or pink), so you can dump five at a time, or pick single bullets up if you open it all the way. For all the lady shooters out there, there probably won't be too many of these at the practice range!

The designer (EvolvingExtrusions) has designed several similar ammo boxes in several calibers and capacities.

The base and the lid are each printed at 50% infill, which gives them increased strength. (Others offering these often print them with 20% or less infill).

Base is Dremel Brand white"ECO-ABS". Lid is Dremel Pink PLA. You will not want to leave the lid on the dashboard in a hot car (The base is more heat resistant).

What Exactly is "ECO-ABS"? Dremel markets this filament under the ECO-ABS name. They clearly state it is not true ABS, but rather an "enhanced" PLA. Dremel claims this has many of the characteristics of ABS, but with the ease of quality printing of PLA. Dremel publishes the "heat distortion temperature" of this material as 78 C (172 F). That is not quite as high as "real" ABS, but is better than most PLA, which usually has a heat distortion temperature of about 54 C (129 F)
